Are you serious about learning Java?

If so, you may want to consider some one-on-one tutoring. I am starting to take on students at a reduced rate to test the waters on how my Java tutorials work on a one-on-one basis. The topics covered in the tutoring sessions will be structured around your current level of expertise in Java. If you are brand new, then we will talk about the fundamental concepts as they apply to actual coding scenarios. If you have some coding experience, but are fuzzy on certain areas (such as design patterns or frameworks), then I can guide you through these complicated topics in plain English! I have a gift for teaching and I practice these teaching skills everyday on the job.

Currently I am employed as a Senior Software Engineer at a private technology company in the Greater Toronto Area (in Ontario, Canada). As part of my job I conduct interviews for new potential employees. In carrying out these interviews, I now know what it is that companies look for when they wish to hire new programmers. As part of my consulting I’ll be sharing this information with you so that you have the best possible chances of success when you start your job search!
